Parking & Transport

Parking is available both on-site and nearby, making your visit to Whitstable Castle as easy and stress-free as possible.

On-site Parking:
Visitors are welcome to use our on-site car park free of charge for up to 3 hours. However, you must register your vehicle within 20 minutes of arrival at one of the two registration points:
• At the main reception
• Inside the Orangery
Failure to register within the 20-minute window may result in a parking charge.

Accessible & Blue Badge Parking:
Designated Blue Badge spaces are available near the main entrance for visitors with mobility needs.

Nearby Parking:
Additional public car parks are located within walking distance of the castle for when on-site spaces are full.

Cycling:
Bike racks are available on-site for cyclists.

Public Transport:
Whitstable Castle is easily accessible by public transport.

Bringing Your Dog

We love welcoming well-behaved dogs at Whitstable Castle. Feel free to bring your furry friends to explore the gardens and relax in our outdoor seating areas.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the gardens, the outdoor Tearoom seating, and inside the Wynn Ellis Tearoom area.

• No dogs inside the orangery or children’s play area
• Water bowls are available throughout the gardens
• Please keep dogs on leads and clean up after them
